About Communication Technology Resources
Located in Monmouth County, New Jersey, Communication Technology Resources, LLC (CTR) is owned and directed by Joan Bruno, Ph.D., CCC-SLP. Communication Technology Resources provides consultation, evaluation and therapy services to children with a wide range of disabilities who could benefit from the use of augmentative and alternative communication systems (AAC).
In addition to clinical services, a primary mission of CTR has been the development of tools and resources to support children and adults who use AAC. Two widely used products authored by Joan Bruno, CTR’s owner and director are the Gateway to Language and Learning© (Gateway) and the Test of Aided-Communication Symbol Performance© (TASP). Gateway is an augmentative communication app or AAC App that meets the needs of children and adults with a wide range of disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, and apraxia. The TASP is an augmentative communication assessment tool that helps professionals select the most appropriate augmentative communication app for their students or patients.
